Eye have followers this man for over 15 years. His website is daghettotymz. He taught me about:
The Boule
Sugar in Cigarettes
NASA
His narrative remains relevant.
Eye am not a flimsy, wishy-washy type person, yet Eye don't mind telling you ---Eye don't like the way Chuck Schumer brushed off Kamala Harris. [K] stay on bs that is why Eye never will sleep on 'em. Periodt!
And yes, we need people like you.
At times I failed to see your value because I was personally irritated by some of your beliefs. I apologize for how I treated you. I'm not going to take insults from you but I will be more understanding in the future about your motivations.
You remind me of my ex which is both good and bad. She's very intelligent but isn't always going to land on the same ideas you know to be facts. However, the conflict between different positions has a lot of value in terms of what we learn and how we grow.
No, I don't believe you are flimsy at all. In fact, I believe you are kind of stubborn, but for you it is strength. And I think that's why it's hard for you to be more open-minded to what we're saying when we disagree with you because you aren't the type of person who jumps to conclusions.
The only thing I will say about sites like da ghetto tymz is that underneath all the racism... human beings are mostly the same and have the same motives and influences. When all things are equal... we often behave in the same ways. I'm 45. When I was in my 20s I was into everything "black consciousness". I considered myself a part of the black conscious community. And I had a lot of respect for many of its elders and teachers. I especially like the Metu Neter and his explanation of consciousness being like an iceberg. I use it all the time, including a few days ago.
Why am I speaking about it in the past tense?
I don't hate or even dislike our black conscious community. It's mainly that I have learned to see through it.
There are things circulating in the community are somewhere between 'simply not true', 'not scientific', and 'blatant lies'.
The presence of truth is essential in every community because the amount of truth makes the lies and falsehoods more believable. When you tell 10 truths and 1 lie it can be very hard to figure out which thing was the lie.
Sources...
The value of a content creator/voice within the conscious community is relative to the knowledge they share. Marinate on that thought for a minute and think about all the prominent figures you know of.
Whites have their own version of this. For them, its people like Jordan Maxwell, David Icke, etc.
All of these guys sound like they know what they're talking about. They all speak with high levels of charisma and confidence and that is what hooks people and makes them buy into and invest in what they're saying. It also "Agrees with their own suspicions". That's key. Most of us do not study the very subject and idea of bias. So we don't really know when we're being biased or using biased information.
Let me make this shorter...
Black Consciousness, like Conspiracy Theory, likely both started as pure things. Over time? You have to begin to see them for what they are. They are industries. And this doesn't have to be malicious. It happens naturally any time a community forms around a new idea. That community creates its own culture that has its own gravitational forces that pull people in. Like a "cult". The stronger the community, the stronger the bonds, the stronger the force of attraction between those bonds, until the identity of membership itself becomes a potent weapon.
But when you understand its an industry... when you understand there's money behind it... that changes things a bit. Yeah, a lot of Christians just put money in the plate without any thought as to where it goes or how it is influencing the sermon. But you... I am 100% sure that you know it does. You know it greatly influences those sermons and those sermons become performances in order to get more money. True or false?
But while we can demonize this behavior, let's not. Because members of the conscious community do the same thing. Once they are known and associated with knowledge, that becomes their product. But its only a matter of time that you have already shared everything you know. But people are looking to you for more and more. Why? Because now you're dealing with consumers. And so the law of supply and demand unconsciously rears its ugly head. And so what happens is that these guys feel pressured to give you more information. If it took 5-10 years to do their original research that they got known for, do they go away for another 5 years? No. It's like a movie franchise that keeps making sequels because of the money. The quality naturally degrades because they're forcing it. I used to have all this respect for Brotha Polight and these guys but they're just normal dudes. And they are influenced by money like everyone else. And so if you keep going back to them they will keep giving you information. But where does it keep coming from if they're not doing years of research?
They're finding it online.
What happens is they trade information with other people who are doing the same thing. This is why eventually they all start repeating the same talking points because there's not enough original content in the industry.
So when they told my Ex to buy gold, she bought gold against my warnings at the time. I tried to tell her that gold is a commodity like any other. It doesn't always increase in value. She lost about 5K on that. She also bought some doomsday prepper pack. Why? Because black people were using the same fear mongering info that whites were trading in. And they were both wrong. That was another waste of money. But these industries... the people find ways of turning their influence into $$$. They will either do it through advertising or by selling products. And one of the best products to sell is "information". And they will say everything you want to hear about how well they "researched" it but you can find some white dude saying the same thing 10-20 years before.
And I get it.... you don't trust people. I understand. Trust shouldn't be given away too easily.
But what I'm saying is that you're trusting a lot of the wrong people because they have financial motivations to sell you these ideas. and they are using your distrust as a way to profit off you. Do I trust the government? No. But do I trust everyone who tells me not to trust the government? No. Because they may confirm my bias but that doesn't make them trustworthy.
So what I think you should do is look for the overlap. Once you see the information overlap between communities you'll see that what people are calling "research" is either making stuff up or trusting a different set of white folks and then using their information and calling it "black consciousness". They know you're not listening to white people like they are. So they can just tell you what white people are saying and you'll trust it, coming from them. When you start talking about the names of different land masses on the flat earth.... literally all of that comes from white folk. So what's the difference between trusting the government and trusting them? How about there are black governments and black scientists working for those black governments? And they can confirm the same scientific results that these white CTs are asking you not to believe. We have black people working for black governments so why not trust them?
