Black People Politics : Voting: The Illusion of Choice "HOT TOPIC"

Sorry, but we don't have time for this garbage right now.

Isn't it amazing how certain people who say they're not voting have this need to tell us they're not voting?

The reality is doing this only makes me think it's coming from a hacked/stolen account.

Because why?

Conspiracy theories?

Most of these conspiracy are invented and perpetuated by white people.

It doesn't matter if you think you're so awake that you think voting is bad. If conspiracy theorists are able to stop you from voting then it's because they know that voting is the ONLY THING THAT DOES WORK.

Distracted? What organizations are you in? What actual thing are you doing outside of "not voting"? Reclaiming what? How? If you don't have a viable alternative to voting then all you are doing is HELPING TRUMP. So you might as well just say that you want TRUMP to win. Yall non-voters haven't done anything up till now and voting doesn't stop you from doing any of your so-called alternatives. That's why it's so ridiculous to tell people you're not voting. You're the distraction. Reclaiming the country even sounds like the white Christian nationalist agenda.

True? Maybe if true were a red herring. There is a so called democratic president in office for the last 4 years. The person who wrote this comment suggested organization should be our pursuit. Now stay with me here because black people love going in circles. The commenter said not enough us are prepared to fight. Then they go on to say "if you put out a call today for conscious trained armed resistance how many you got". So let me get this right we need to organize under the "next" so called democratic president because a republican president will suppress organization "immediately". lol Because electing Kamala "will FINALLY give us time to build and organize. lololol

Why are we always waiting?

People that do know to how change things won't be allowed to. (cointelpro) is more relevant then most people care to appreciate. It has a different name now. same results.

We've all seen this movie before.

So vote for Kamala. Get back to me in 4 years and tell me the differences to what is NOW.
So what's your great idea??

This article was written 8 years ago yet the story aligns with my own position 100%

Eye know the history of this country. And Eye also know we remain blind to the fact that we are an indigeneous sovereign nation within a defacto nation. The colonizer even has us thinking we came over here on ships -- when, in fact, we were already here.

Sadly, in 2024 we still do not collectively know nor recognize our power as the original people of this land mass. Most are still caught up in the history of slavery of 400 years ago and do not know WE HAVE BEEN HERE FOR WELL OVER 51,000 YEARS (eg. "The First Americans Were Africans" by Dr. David Imhotep).

Therefore, slavery is just a drop in the bucket.

"To be a black body witnessing this unprecedented election means to be in a constant state of conflict; to be caught in the middle of two great evils."

How about EVERYONE votes (for Kamala) THEN organize. But let us know before you get ****** put on the no-fly list what you're talking about because ****** sound real brave around election time... around voting time.... and not a PEEP from these same ****** any OTHER time.

Which makes me think, they're not real.

And for those who THINK they're prepared to fight in some other way than at the polls... you're not. Go ahead. Share your ideas. I'll explain to you exactly how you're wrong. Be brave now and share. Otherwise, what are we talking about? How "brave" it is to stay home? Stay on the bench? Stay on the sidelines? Stay off the field entirely? That's not brave at all.

No one can even see you.

So stop acting like you didn't have time to build and organize before. That's nonsense. Nothing was stopping us before. What we were doing was adapting and learning how to navigate the system. The internet is now full of black people advertising and selling products, becoming influencers, all types of levels of success. And that's because whatever we invest our time and energy in, we can and do succeed in. White people have always been afraid of that.
