    According to the articles,
    Vitamin D status differs by latitude and race, with residents of the northeastern U.S. and individuals with more skin pigmentation being at increased risk of deficiency.
    In a recent study 42% of black women had seriously deficient levels of vitamin D.

    According to the CDC, between 1997-1999 "5 per million Georgia children were hopitalized with rickets due to vitamin D deficiency and all were african american 8-12 months old.

    GETTING MORE VITAMIN D

    All we need to do is get more sunlight in the morning hours, without wearing sunglasses. We absord vitamin D through our eyes.
