    Eradicating emotions
    until they become
    less --
    virulent; or until
    less of virulence becomes--
    none;
    more of my visions dissolved
    in an emptiness ~~
    a kind of hole...
    Seen through it
    are colors characterized
    to ... sear
    orange to ...red...sterilizing
    wounds by
    destroying old memories
    ...moving slowly
    coming into my life
    only to walk
    back out ~ leaving
    my life -- open; lonely
    ...In sight was a cool
    ~blue that became --
    bright; soft white
    Strangely I felt
    comfortable in this
    warm glow
    overstanding it
    as a peace full of shadows;
    knowing that the
    numbing sensations
    meant my mind
    had blocked out the
    ability to feel
    what was beheld
    by the colorful
    paradigm, or maybe
    I was sorely mistaken
    and it was that,
    in which time would
    heal....
    smelling of sulfur
    soothes the
    sufferer; or
    so it may be
    that in
    reverse ~
    suffering increases
    as sulfur ignites
    fanned by the very
    air my virulence
    breathed
    burning
    sensations
    from within
    singed my cast
    while impassivity
    held my listless
    body
    as I floated
    in the
    sea of flames
