    THE GIANT

    On a cloudy day
I realized my strength had been depleated
    I lost enery
    Gained exertion
    From years of playing warrior
My war paint melted and my spear became dull
    Tears mounted
    Making my eyes heavy
    My arms were sore
    My spirit....tired
As I vainly fought against this giant
As my abrasions began to multiply
    My wounds began to deepen
I lodged my heavy spirit under an uncertain sky
    I panted for breath
    I asked for strength
    I believed for deliverance
    But the oppsition was firece
    I re evaluated this task
Pondering why the battle was so hard to win
    Then I realized instinctively
    The giant lived within!
