Vietnam Says Bitcoin Transactions are Illegal

A central bank statement late Thursday didn't spell out penalties for those who disobeyed the instruction, but it said that virtual currencies are linked to money laundering and other illegal activities.

If you remove the word virtual, this is still true. Man 2014, is being a bit rough on crypto-currencies.

Brother Gorilla ... i was finna try to get involved with bitcoins ... but now it doesn't seem the thing to do.

I've even read talk of regulation and stuff regarding it ... removing the differences between it and us currency.

hmmmm ... yeah ... 2014 seems a bad year for bitcoins.

We probably could have guessed this though ... as governments don't want to be left out of any money loops.

The Central Bank system is heavily protected.. anything that threatens it is dealt with.. swiftly.
