Is a prostitute an abused woman,
    Once a molested child,
And this is all she can do while,
    Going to school, paying tuition,
    Supporting her kid and
    Fighting the confliction
    In her heart and mind.
    Is she so dead inside
That sex makes her feel so alive.
Or is it just easier to find
    Income by selling her body,
Reducing her to a worthless role.
Offering to all buyers, 3 warm holes
Entry to her, plus eager hands.
    Is this her plan?
Or is she simply a victim of circumstance.

    What about dope man.
    Coke man.
    Selling lethal drugs that
Killed more nig#a’s than the Taliban,
Violated more sisters than the white man,
Caused more devastation than Katrina ever can,
Selling to brothers, mothers, fathers, sisters.
But can u blame him? His life was no perfect picture.
Never really knew his dad, and his mom never rilly had time.
    He couldn’t hoop, or rhyme
So his last choice was to grind.
Cuz, money don’t grow on trees
And you know a ni#ga got needs.
This was the life he was taught- this is what he sees
Has seen. Do you think he’s
    Another victim of circumstance? Maybe.
I wonder what answer I’d hear from a crack baby.

    Cocaine addict- can’t help himself-
He needs it, juss a lil bit if nothing else.
    Things so wrong now but
    If he hits that pipe,
    For a few precious moments
    Things will be alright.
    Heaven will be his and
    Hell will fall back.
He doesn’t care who he robs or fu<ks or attacks
(All is fair in the name of love, war, and crack)
    His friends are all gone
    Either cleaned up, or dead,
And he knows that if he doesn’t clean up
    What waits is his end.
But man, cocaine is a h3ll of a drug-
    That’s what Rick James said
Is this another victim of uncontrollable circumstance?

    I’m asking you, I’ve already decided;
    Who’s who, and what’s what
Who is wrong and who is right and
I’ve known hookers, dealers, and those inflicted
    Constantly lusting, the crack addicted.
I’m just teen aged-yes, but I’ve seen these things.
I’m grateful I chose to resist these streets.
And though things occur that we can’t control or conceive
    I for one believe
    Ultimately, you decide your destiny.

Circumstances present themselves that will drive many down a road that they never intended to travel. It can be a hard choice, but it is a choice. I hear what you're saying poet, it's tough love. Tight message, well posed.

THE COKE ADDICT GOT CAUGHT UP IN THE WRONG THING SO I CAN'T ANSWER THAT
    BUT THE OTHER TWO

    PROSTITUTE AND THE DEALER
BOTH ARE TRYING TO MAKE MONEY

NOT ALL PROSTITUTES WERE ABUSED, YEA IT'S SICK WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT WHAT THEY DO, BUT THEY NEED MONEY LIKE EVERYBODY,

THE DEALER IS JUST SELLING A PRODUCT
AND AFTERALL ISN'T THAT THE GREAT AMERICAN WAY

AND DON'T SAY IT'S DRUGS THE GOVERNMENT ALLOWS CIGARETTES AND LIQUOR AND OTHER POISONS TO BE SOLD EVERYDAY DON'T GET IT TWISTED
THE CAPITIALIST AGENDA RELIES ON PROFIT AND DRUGS AS BAD AS THEY MAKE PROFIT BUT FOR WHO IS THE QUESTION???

    GREAT QUESTIONS IN THE PIECE

My point was...is there really a such thing as a victim of circumstance. Yeah things happen that we cant control...a poor person wit no transportation caught in Katrina, or someone who worked in the towers who was caught whe nthe planes hit...I consider that to be a victim of circumstance...but the paths we take in life we all have more control over. I'm not naive and i dont live in the burbs so i know **** is hard but no1 said any1s life is gonna be a piece of cake. The prostitutes...the drug dealers, yeah they makin money but thats the easy way out in my opinion, but who am I to judge. I seen ****** broke as **** who went thru highschool, college, without ever sellin a single rock...
