    happened so fast
    so quickly
    so innocently
    at first

    then, it was
    intentional
    purposefully, malicious
    without thinking
    or feeling
    or fearing a consequence

    touched me, and all senses
    went
    flying out the door,
    all I could do
    was scream

    for more that is

never wanting to see you again
yet never wanting you to leave
never wanting to be the one
    to call first, playing tricks
on myself to keep myself busy,
while I sit, stand and lay idle
    waiting
    waiting
    impatiently even
    to be your victim again

    took my heart, but swore
    you didn't mean it
    made plans, and broke them,
but it was never your fault
    I understand dearheart,
    you are busy,
    you are tired
    Yet,...
    I stand in the rain
    watching you eat dinner
    with someone else
    you are smiling, she's laughing
"Watch out girl, that used to be me!"
    I scream
    .......yesterday, in fact

    She's his next victim,
I feel sorry for her, but
I'm calling her out her name,
    pure jealousy
because I want to be with you
you have power over me, can't
    ear, drink, sleep or think
    with anyone or anything
    but you

Losing weight and gaining it back,
    'til you show me
    your devotion again
    telling me you love me
    fitting me in,
    smoothing things over,
    I am happy....

    for the moment.

    Then I picture you
with that woman'and the lies you've told
since you say you'll never leave me,
    I guess,....
    I have to leave you
    or I will
    forever be
    your victim.

    jazzymoonchild,
expressed well, the subject of the writing has it real bad and that sho aint too good. You painted this picture as it sometimes is......it alwayz seems that those who can see so well would not be so blind...but that's deception that is sometimes mistaken as love because it has borrowed some of love's best clothing....

    Peace and Blessings

jazzymoonchild if they had the emmy's for poetry, you'd be there. MAN! how can you just write like that so freely from care and the world, but never forget that all that's fair, doesn't always seem that way? ................whoa! i mean i'm blown away by this one,i am feelin' it to the uttermost................you get props AND the stage for this one. your life is a stage, and i'm watching, waiting for the next act......................flow on, flow on, forever..................for real. :eek:hmy:

LilCherry,..WOW! Thank you for that. Those few lines were some of the biggest compliments that I have ever received!!! I write from experience. I may not have lived every line verbatim, but I can relate. Much love!!

Too bad we can't just turn our emotions off and on at will. You end this in victory, however, while piecing yourself back together. This was so well written.
