I haven't heard much about this fighter since he lost his crown to that Latino cat... What is happening with him, Pan, Money, Oceolo??? Why isn't he a contender who's name I am hearing anymore???

    Peace!

He actually had his first comeback fight on the undercard of Hopkins vs. Taylor. He won.

Good, Kente, I almost forgot that you were a fight affianado like those other cats(smile!) I always liked this brother for his work with those kids outside of the sport... He is a grounded, and well-rounded person... Something not oft seen in the world of sports, and especially boxing... Thanks for the report, good brother!

    Peace1

Vernon Forrest has been having problems with his elbow, he had 3 operations over the last 2 years, which kept him sideline. It is ironic that you asked brother Isaiah, because as Kente said, he had a successful comeback last weekend. Here is an article on him:

Thank you, Pan! I didn't know the brother had dropped two fights to Mayorga... Hmmm, that's what I get for being just a casual fan of the sport, huh???

Glad his comeback was successful - though with the comp out there it will be tough to return to the top... Here's wishing him well...

    Peace!

Forrest is in between 2 of the most competitive divisions in boxing (Welterweight and Jr. Middleweight)...so yes he will have a tough road back to the top. Fortunately for him, he knows his position and is taking things slowly.
