Black Poetry : VANILLA sky ( the reason why )

[Hypnotize]

The difference between Kool-aid and Flavor - aid ..
a few cents. Dollars AND cents, of which
I only have a FEW ... SINCE - my move meant
standing still... waiting ... waiting ... wait ----- ing.

The flavor of the latter OR ladder hastens my climb
to cloud nine - the flavor of Vanilla Sky.

" What is happiness to YOU ? "

Making my taste buds react to HER skin ... for starters,
THAT would be nice.

Wealth and Health ... that would be nice.

But Vanilla Sky seems so far, my Ice Cream castles
melting in sandman reality.

That ****ED UP VANILLA SHADE
ain't the sky , just snow capped mountains
so - rounding me - in my WAY !!!!

" Are there any 20-25 yr. old ladies on destee
who could possibly be Sophia to me ? "

" Maybe Black planet, CAN it all be so simple ? "

From Nympho's to shy girl's w/ dimples -
Some company - THAT WOULD be nice.

But scooping Vanilla Sky reminds me of a rap song.
Old Hip Hop Spirituals we used instead of cooling
towers ... to declassify documents - NEW clearer fusion.

Another Move - MEANT --- ............... realizing it doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter if I look for her online and find her
end up in the grocery line behind her
or ALREADY KNOW HER and have to remind her.

It doesn't matter if a switchblade cuts the check
as long as the RENT'S PAID - THIS MADE
me believe.


This made me believe.

This craze we agree to. This maze we're born in .

The sky is the ONLY constant.

I've been gone from Poetry in general
for a while.
But me and my peeps have our poetry
c.d. done and are tryin to sell it for
ten bucks a pop since we know longer
have our own night in toledo.
