The wise tell us all the time that we should "fight fire with fire." If is this certain, then could we also upset the matrix with matricks? I guess that would only be a reformatting of an idea we've been discussing for months on Destee.
Matricks are magickal tricks, but not like pulling a rabbit out of a hat. Here's one. A traditional way African people stop hiccups for a baby? Get a piece of white thread from their own clothes, wet it with your saliva and place it in the middle of the baby's forehead. Works everytime right? Well, that would be considered a magic trick- one of those things that Western medicine would debate. How about putting a penny on a bump? Does it work or doesn't it? Sure it does and it has worked for centuries.
African people have all types of magikal tricks that are useful for parents, from burying the umbilical cord in the front yard to keep the children closer to home to placing certain books under their pillow to increase brain power. These methods actually work, even though science cannot explain why.
I am sure that even those of us who are against this sort of traditional "hocus pocus" and superstition will still find themselves enchanted by the lighter side of magick that come in the form of prayer, reading spells- I meant psalms and
going to a house of worship on the day of the sun. Humm- that doesn't sound traditional and supersitious at all.
It is only hocus pocus because we don't understand how it works. But last I checked most people didn't know how this worked either:
But we still use it....as frequently as possible.
Our real fear is actually that those who master "magikal tricks" will be able to use them against us when we offend them. This is true regardless of what level of knowledge a person has, they still retain enough unconscious psychic influence to affect those that insult or oppose them.
Here's a quick secret. Jill Scott wrote "Hate on Me" as a battle song against those who would dare to use their unconscious psychic influence against her. We can all play the song and receive the same level of power.
You cannot hate on me - ‘Cuz my mind is free - Feel my destiny
So shall it be
That is another magick trick, very old and ancient. Africans have always crafted songs as ways to battle invisible forces.
For me, I find imagery as a sharp and direct way to "invoke" the right level of energy for any situation.
Words, ideas and concepts can be hidden in images- far away from the causal eye. Sometimes the secrets of the matrix are staring us right in the face.
Simple magick affects the mind- but more powerful magick shakes up the entire system.
Can matricks stop bullets and liberate Black people you asked?
If our ultimate goal is to truly liberate ourselves from destruction, we should pay attention the fact that the cemeteries aren't littered with blacks who have died from gun shot wounds.
The living are too concerned with dying, we should be more concerned about "suffering" than death. Death is freedom from life, but suffering is torture. What liberates us from suffering?
Total freedom away from the control and gasp of all dominating systems. Stress is killing us more than any bullet or bomb. Many of you are dying as we speak....
The greatest of all matricks? Laughter.
Void of laughter the greatest strength will become a weakness.
If the world is a joke, why aren't you laughing?
Why? Because you see it as a sign of weakness? The worst thing you can do towards an enemy is laugh in their face. It's a magickal way to insert your will and power over any situation.
Still- many of us laugh to keep from crying.
Do you have useful matricks as well?
It's time to shake up this system....
