You used to be my best friend
My Girlfriend we could talk on end
Walking a tight rope that is so thin
My nerves your nerves of all the nerves
I deserve...
Some respect. Do you object?
I would expect!

You used to be my best friend
Couldn't tell where one story
ended and another would begin
Been together so long we starting
to look like kin.
You offended, I 'm offended... Let's
just end it
I have better things to do

You used to be my best friend
But on one thing I can depend
That my love for you will never
end. Maybe it's just the menopause
hotflashes , that's not satisfying yo
draws..."I wish you would get you
some!"
And we can go back to being best
friends
But then, we would just get riled up
about something else again.
Girlfriend, "WHY CAN'T WE BE FREINDS?"
