I do believe we should try harder to inspire today's generations to truly believe in themselves and come up with a new approach to usher in a better future for all of us...
To me, most (if not all) are neither a product of an afrocentric or eurocentric mindset...

Take for example what you call "jazz". If it were not for the innovation of successive generations it would not have evolved from Dixieland and swing.
We have youth today who are web developers. Utilizing social media then developing their own creative industries.
Why is it that so many view our youth so negatively, when large numbers of youth are doing positive things?
