Do you think they'll up the age for a licensed driver?
I hope so, I always thought that 16 was too young.
Driving is serious business. I got my license at around 16/17, but I still wasn't ready.
If they upped it to 18 I know I wouldn't mind. Teens don't need to drive anyway.
I wouldn't mind is the age restriction was pushed back further than that. This is an issue of public safety. There is too much evidence which shows teenagers are not ready for the responsibility of driving.
As a teen myself, I agree they should up the age. Where I live, teens drive crazy and are the number one cause of accidents. But it just might be were I live because there's at least two automible accidents a day. It's really ridiculous. It's caused me not to even think about getting a license and drive in my city, it's so bad. And yes, it is a suburban neighborhood.
I think they should keep the age right where it is now. It depends on your maturity level. Cuz i've seen some grown people drive recklessly too.
The worst drivers I've seen are old people, drunks (who can be any age), and a few crazy teens.
i know right. if they change the age. they might as well have have a law that says people that are 83 and older can not drive.
I agree with that one too, although I'd lower the age limit to 70!
