Excessive emotions etched into the heart of a pessimist
Until bombarded with the light of optimism in the form of YOU
Then what was once percieved by me as a dream in the convoluted scheme of things
Materialized into something great enough to transcend reality
And we immersed ourselves in it
Each thought painted a fantastic image of your beauty
If only I could experience it I wouldn't mind living in my head
Where when you hold me in your arms time has to pause to catch its breath
Left breathless from love's kiss
As we were held in the balance
Awaiting the result while eternity and perpetuity fought toh old our hearts
We dismiss their limitations and claimed time as ours
Since this love has been growing sicne before pharoahs ruled the world
And statues of gold adorned with countless rubies wouldn't measure to the beauty
I love you just because you make me smile
You're able to loosen the grip which with comtempt held my heart
and help triumph enough to rise above it all
Stod beside me as we faced the crooked-nosed goblins with empty grins and larceny in their hearts
Without weapons in hand we defeated them
Now we kick back on the throne and promise always
And holding back tears because I miss you
Even if I do hold you in my heart
And you live on with me in my mind
Countless symbols bring you to mind as if I could forget
I love you
