    I’ve written about you
Long before I found the others
    The others were mere practice
    To prepare me
    For you
    I dreamed about you
    Smelled you
    Heard your voice
    Then a distant whisper
    Now a strong, rich baritone
Filled with confident echoes of character
    I conjured you
    From my prayers
    In a past life time
    I did something extraordinary
To have been blessed with you
    I imagined love
    But I never imagined you
I thought about what I always wanted
But I never thought of you
    You far exceed my wants
You are greater than my imagination
    I thank God nightly
    For you
    For allowing your heart
    To hear my soul
    I know
    Deep within my heart
You are the one that I will never regret
The one my heart will forever cherish
Now I have new dreams, bolder wants
    I see my destiny
Just as clearly as I see you
