Such love
from above the doubt and tears,
surfed the world to find friends,
and cheers... :toast:
And I found you.
You brought me from the shadows
to lift my soul,
you're my shoulder, my elder,
and my blanket in the cold,
so I must give thanks.
I never knew the meaning of
community, family, unity,
until I logged on to destee,
and met Rich, Angelicsage, others, and triniti.....
Now I feel like that little brother
always taggin along,
want to grow up like my elders
and become a poet strong.
Because they be writin' and they be speakin' and
tellin the truth;
my family is strong and deep like great redwoods
and the roots!
So speak poet, write poet,
so we can feel that soul--our world is gettin old and growin' cold so
turn up that fire!!
You have turned my passion to desire
and my desire to love.....we may be black as crows
but our minds and spirts,
are as pure as doves.
So give blessings and learn to receive,
we are in this together,
if you only believe.

This goes out to all who post and appreciate all the hard work that we all do. Thank you all for the support and love
