    When the sunshine runs….
    Away from Me
    I find myself
    Longing to rest in peace…
As subconscious mind begins to sway
    All I seem to do…
    Is close my eyes…
    And die...another day.

    (Suddenly)...Into of world
    Absence of Bliss
    With narcolepsy
    I Drift
    And-
    Start to fall-
    Securely into rim
    vision fades up from dim
    I am drawn to recall-
    Countless Conflicts compounded
    by youthful yearnings
    And fruitless years
    And-
    Slowly I- begin
    Viewing the re-runs of my
    Past Fears
    Over come by
    Night frights and-
    Mostly ghostly sights of-
    Caged rage and
    Unbearable Ghetto plights
    I Sink…. Submerged in tears.
    The-
    Stresses of sending up
    Jah Blessings for my
    Preyed upon peers
    Stalking the block we walk
    Conditioned by hate
    their fate- post mortum
    crates or sodomy
    dates on cell
    block tiers-
    while-
    Neatly Knotting sheets
    Or sharpening shanks
    For fear the
    End is near …..So

    To that Wize man
    Credited with expanding
    Upon Plato’s plan
    I ask If-
    The ends are supposed
    To justify the means
    Then-
Where among us is the justice
    To calm the scream dreams
    Of fragile newborn
    Victim-feins?
    And-
    The world is ours and-
    Everything in it,
    Then-
    Why success for some
Is a journey but for us
It’s a race and we never seem
    To win it
    And-
I find it hard to believe
    That entire tribes were stole
    Stripped of identity
    Then sold
    Or-
    That Mother Afrika’s children
    The roots of the diaspora
    Neighboring100+Million
    Perished in the passage
    So that our present and
    Future generations
    Could live this drastic….

    In the mindset
Of those who fret for freedom….

    …They say…we have the rights
    To aim for bright lights-
But try as we might most us…
    Seldom... see them...

    Peace Power and Prosperity.........

    *sigh*....Brother you have *The Gift*

    wow...you thoughts and sentiment leap...stream

and reach into my mind...enveiling my eye...

then it moves to my soul and causes it to cry rivers

    of discontent...for our people...

because the reality...is there, it's there...

and it's so difficult to keep moving...

when the Sun...(as you so eloquently put it)
    is running...

Brother...thank you for sharing and allowing me to become one with this piece... I'm speechless...
