    and the elimination of mind harming irritants from thier child's menu, the child will either be too tired to study or too hyper to concentrate and behave congenially in class.

    98% of special Ed are children on high carb, high dairy, high wheat and nuff sugar diets

    Amen!

    And not just Spec. Ed students.

    Many to most children go to school with either no breakfast at all or a high-sugar one. So, they're either lethargic or hyper in class which leads to discipline problems as well as low attention spans and retention. And when the sugar high decreases, they also become lethargic when they hit the low.

    That's why I commend this principal for the stance she took:
