As African people we , as stated before pretty much had unity until we allowed our youth to adopt a culture that was anti unity! From thirty thousand years in Africa, to reconstruction 1888 to 1988, by 1988, trust and love started to whither in the community !

I think it's more of a Trust issue than hatred. We have been socialized to mistrust each other.

I think it's both mistrust and hatred. I know here in the N.O. people really don't trust anyone to be for their well being because everyday someone is trying to take advantage of another. Also, there's hatred for anyone outside your way of thinking, or anyone who looks like they think they're better than you, or just the world because of the situation some are in. It's a very sickly people.

However, there is also an attitude of being welcoming toward others into your house that kind of contradicts the whole, "trust no one" attitude.

For me, real freedom is about making sacrifices [money,time,indiviualism, opinions,selfishness etc.] for the greater good, and in those sacrifices we maintain and create unity.

Since you are seemingly incapable of admitting you have EVER mis-spoken or made an error, and when proven beyond the shadow of a doubt to be in error, deny, deny, deny, then proceed to pose even more questions loaded with even more false allegations and as in the above, play the victim...
