    UNDERSTANDING REVELATIONS CHAPTER 13

    By Andre Austin

The main characters in Revelations 13 is the Red Dragon and two beast. Once you understand who these three people are you will be rooted in a solid foundation for understanding other political issues dealing with Revelations.

    A. The Red Dragon kicking pregnant women to death is Emperor Nero who commited sucide in 68AD Nero names also equals 666

    B. # 1 Beast is Emperor Vespasian

    C. #2nd Beast is Emperor Titus (666) in Greek is Teitan=666 this is why 2nd beast speaks like the Dragon/Nero

    D. Emperor Domitian is the main character of Revelations. He is jealous of his father and brother, Vespasian and Titus and has them demonized in Revelation and elevates himself up to the Title "Jesus Christ" the Morning Star. Domitian was in envy that the Senate voted Vespasian a god and Titus a "Son of a god" and he was left with the nickname of the baldheaded "Terrible Spirit". His self-declared "Divine bed" was the center of the "Bed of Suffering" (Rev 2:22)

In chapter 13 of the book of Revelations key lanquage about a world ruler is alluded to. Three Roman historians Josephus, Suetonius and Tacitus alluded to a Oracle in Numbers 24. In their explanation of this world ruler matches up with the same lanquage in Revelations 13. I will cite all sources then give a commentary.

In 66Ad Emperor Nero appoints then Generals Vespasian and Titus to go to Israel and shut down their rebellion. In which they do by destroying their city and Temple in 70AD which sets in motion Numbers 24:17:

"A star will come out of Jacob (Israel)

a scepter will rise out of Israel...

A ruler will come out of Jacob (Israel)

and destroy the survivors of the city" (compare wit 1 & 3)

(1). When this same star was mentioned in conjunction with Vespasian and Titus destroying the city as cited by Josephus: "Thus there was a star resembling a sword, which stood over the city" (War of the Jews 6.5.289 and cited in Matthew 24:29)

Josephus went on to make two more statements:

(2)....he (Vespasian) had not arrived at the government without Divine Providence, but a righteous kind of fate had brought the Empire under his power (War of the Jews 4, 10, 622).

Josephus recorder in another passage that Vespasian's and Titus ascension has been the fulfillment of the Jew's messianic prophecies.

    (3) ...What did the most to induce the Jews to start this war was an ambiguous oracle that was also found in their sacred writings, how, about that time, one from their country should become govenor of the habitable earth. The Jews took this prediction to belong to themselves in particular, and many of the wise men were thereby deceived in their determination. Now this oracle certanly denoted the dynasty of Vespasian, who was appointed Emperor in Judea (War of the Jews 6, 5,312-313).

The Roman authors Suetonius and Tacitus also gave the same interpretation of the prophecy.

(4). "There had spread over all the Orient and old and established belief, that it was fated for men coming from Judea to rule the world. This prediction, referring to the Emperor of Rome-as afterwards appeared from the event-the people of Judea took to themselves" Suetonius 12 lives of the Caesars-Vespasian,4.5.

(5). "The majority (of the Jews) were convinced that the ancient scriptures of their priests alluded to the present as the very time when the Orient world would triumph and from Judea would go forth men destined to rule the world. This mysterious prophecy really referred to Vespasian and Titus, but the common people, true to the selfish ambitions of mankind, thought that this exalted destiny was reserved for them, and not even their calamities opened their eyes to the truth" (Tacitus Histories 5.13). On a side note off on a tangent was the destrution of their Temple and Jews resorting to canabalism durning the was were cited by Josephus as calamities. These calamities were turned into satire and parody of the Eucharist of eating the body and drinking blood memoralizing their military defeat which is the the Definition of Gospel=Good news of military victory.

Now if we step into Revelations 13 we see the "Dragon (Nero) gave the #1 beast (Vespasian) his power and his throne and great authority"..he was given power to make war aganist the saints and conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, lanquage and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast".

this first beast Vespasian is described as having "Bear's feet" (Rev 13:2) because Vespasian suffured a wound in the foot and almost died but it healed "the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound but it healed" (Rev 13:3). 'A certain Jew that defended the city from the Romans, hit vespasian with a dart/sword in his foot, and wounded him a little" (War of the Jews 3 chapter 7, 236). because his feet were mighty as a bear's his wound healed seems to fit.

The #1 Beast (Vespaian) gives authority to the 2nd Beast who spoke like a Dragon (Rev 13:11-12). In Suetonius biography of Titus he states that the people thought of Titus as a "Second Nero". Christian scholars point out that Nero's name translate into 666. Its no coincidence that the 2nd Beast spoke like the Dragon (Nero) and Titus being thought of as a "second Nero". If we pick up on clues in Galatians 2:3 that there was a Titus being said to be Greek we then translate the Roman Titus to the Greek Teitan and add it up to 666.

The Gospels were written as a parody of Josephus's War of the Jews in order to trick the Jews/Christians into worshiping Vespasian & Titus through the first 4 Gospels as father and son then to transfer that worship to Domitian in Paul's letters and Revelations. A well grounded knowledge in history can help black people and others avoid the white sumpremacy in the NT. When the Jews rejected the Egyptian concept of Justice and moral order symbolized as a Tree of knowledge of good and evil bcause they didn't come up with the idea they have been lost ever since. Black peoples contact with whites from the beggining has been unjust, injustice with Justice being sleep. So why would you go along with them in rejecting Maat/Justice/Moral order coming from the minds of blacks when they never gave us any resemblance of Justice??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????.

    Notes:

Joe Atwill, in his milestone book Shakespeare's Secret Messiah p.306-307states on Rev 13:

"Vespasian is the first of the Caesars to be called a beast, and this starts a lineage of Caesar beasts whose identity can be ascertained. The mortal wound the beast experiences is the wound Vespasian received during the Galilean campaign.

The next bible passage describes Nero as a Dragon that insisted upon being worshiped as a god and had given his authority to Vespasian. As the war lasted seven years, the beast from the sea-Vespasian (Venus 555) had authority for 42 months (Rev 13:5), or one half the time or week of the seven year war. vespasian returned to Rome before the siege of Jerusalem and destruction of Temple in 70AD (Luke 19:43-44 & WOJ 5,12,499-501) and the war did not conclude until the destruction of Masada in 73AD.

The beast from the earth is Titus (Venus 666), who marched into Judea to force the Jews to worship Caesar. When Vespasian left Judea, he gave Titus "All the authority of the first Beast". As noted above, Suetonius recorded that Domitian (Venus of heaven 777) had slighted his brother's Titus memory in "edicts", in other words Domitian had referred to him as the beast with two horns in Revelation. Suetonius also recorded that Domitian had Titus deified, and this makes the identity of Titus as a "beast" in Revelation almost automatic, in that so few can be seen as having been "slighted in edicts" and also made a God".
