Ice clinks cool over hollowed out ribs
frigidly melts with the heat of my breath
dripping sweat, shimmering in the moonlight
I taste you and you moan under me
you are mine and i remind you over and over
it doesn't matter who we are with
or what is going on in our lives
we have possessed each other for a decade
under the fiery prints of each other
blood coursing through veins until
we explode at or with each other
breaks of amicable silence fill rooms
until the stares burn through clothes
imprinting into my soul and we bounce
its how we do and you know everything about me too
down to the ticklish spot no one ever finds
which leads to rivers flowing
leaving oceans we giggle over later
on days when I think about ropes and ladders
jumping from bridges and holding down more than
is even possible, he is there, to remind me
i am superwoman and I remind him later
i am his woman as I moan underneath his voice.
