Unabridged Dreams

Have you ever woke up from a dream
just as it was about to get good
only to be left hanging

wondering what dreams may come
punctuated by compulsory
occasional nightmares

the world a frightful stage
full of bit part players
in an ongoing tragedy

thwarted at every turn ~
reciting lines that miss the mark
dying to flip a poorly written script

Bring on the second act…

dreamers usher mankind toward
the promised land of prophetic dreams
unabridged to bring down a divided house
