Chicago-In the WatchTower
Doublecrossed
Confused
You respond with silence
And darkness
Withdrawn your love
From the masses
And caused a break in your family
The sun no longer shines in your life
For you have been betrayed by its shine
Now you retreat to the shadows
And in the hunger of your wrath
Vowing vengeance on those who once
Were dear to you
The darkness permeating your being
Driving a wedge between blood
Yet one day
You shall emerge
Victorious
And your transformation will be complete
Yet will you be the same
Will things return to normal?
Will love resume the way in which we have known?
I think not
Remaining too long out the flow
May corrupt what we hold dear
Put it past
And return
Forgive
And let live
And anoint us again
Speak to us.....
Or forever hold your peace

SPEAK ON IT!

A wise woman once said to me during a particularly difficult time
that if you are a Christian or you profess a hope in God, then
Forgiveness is not an option it is Mandatory!
Dang ya'll did it again. That's my next poem...
I love this place! And I double love this piece!!!!!!:toast:
