from birth
u carried me
gave me
showed me

wash my sins
kept me from
temptation
and evil

u gave me
the grace
in thy father
name of glory

I can't believe
u carried me
this far to leave
me

nobody told me
the road wouldn't
be easy to walk
and the pain felt
so hard in da heart

but u keep me close
by the love of choice
and the singing of
voice da comfort of thy
way which i walk

today i confess unto u
forth only u knows
u carried me alone
alone
da
way
and
still holding
my hand
