Did Tyler Perry announce this himself? If he didn't then it's just another rumor-- Something that a lot of people get easily sucked into believing a lot lately.

Tyler Perry "Very Excited" to Be a Dad—and Did He Accidentally Reveal the Baby's Gender?!

Tyler Perry is gearing up for the role of a lifetime: dad.
E! News exclusively confirmed last week that the entertainment mogul's on-again, off-again model girlfriend of several years, Gelila Bekele, is expecting their first child, and now the celeb has spoken out about entering the next chapter of their lives.
"Yes, yes and we're very excited about it, very excited," Perry told E! News when asked about the pregnancy at the New York premiere of Gone Girl on Friday. And it looks like he'll be entering fatherhood very soon, because a source has told E! News that Bekele is seven or eight months along.
News of their impending parenthood was first (kind of) revealed at Perry's recent 45th birthday party in Los Angeles. While the star didn't clearly announce the news to his guests, he alluded to it during a speech. "He said he had to start getting used to not getting a lot of sleep, because his life was about to change in a big way," a guest at the bash told E! News at the time. "He said, 'Some of you know what I'm talking about.'"

It seems as though the 45-year-old may have also accidentally spilled the beans on the baby's gender during an interview with Extra.
When asked what kind of dad he'll be, Perry responded, "The greatest gift I'm being given right now is the opportunity to give the little boy in me everything I never had, so that's what I'm excited about. This beautiful human being that God has allowed to come into my life for me to get to know, because they come with their own personalities, who they are, to shepherd and usher him…"
He then stopped and said, "I said 'him.'" Oops! With a smile, Perry finished his thought, "...into whatever the child is supposed to be is what I'm going to do."
Guess we need to break out the blue!
