I heard voices
Outside the sullen sea
Resounding... then another
Drawing ever near to me

To watch two dolphins at play
Is to listen... in disbelief
While you recognize the jive
Nature reckons with the street

We don't know how to listen,
As reported by dear "Peeps"
Who always breathes... uniquely
Blowing off steam ~ real deep

Old "Salt O' Thee Earth" shrieks
Having seen man's nefarious fleet
Forever rhyming, and always pining
Asks, why can't we live in peace

Before I could guess at an answer
The confrontation... dear
Dolphin voices, random choices
Aren't you glad I shared

See here, they are, approaching!
You cool? the dock is shaking...
Hang on, can you hear 'em say-
