    Representin’?
    Marsallis Wynton,
    lippin’ high altitude
    with vituperous vicissitudes
    while the ground zero heroes
fiddle with Nero, Peter that is,
    pianissimo, master fortissimo
    riffin’ sixteen to the bar,
    embouchure embraces
    old and exciting faces
    Lester leapin’ in,
    vamped, turnaround
Savoy jumped up and down the town.
    Far past braggadocios
    now seems totally atrocious
    down from the fifth
    kick on the one, shuffle
along backbeat, step brothers two feet
up in the air, screamin’ tight lips
    swirling hips, brass lit sound
    smooth walking bass, brown
    shoes and velvets cases
    carrying musical heat,
    back to the beat
    Sweet!
    J. R. is back in town.
    That’s Joshua Redding
    if you’re not down.

    Ra,

Brother "THIS" is poetry at it's finest. No unnecessary words. Just message and art.
