i was watching an interview of one of them.
he said their story was written up in 1950.
it was made into a movie in 1995.

he said it took them forty five (45) years to get backing for a film.
he said it is easy to get money to show black men as pimps and drug dealers.
it was very difficult for them to get money to show black men as heroes.

    MMMMMMMMMMM.......................

Makes you want to wonder why they took so long to make a Freedom Monument for Nelson Mandela, and then some.
