I remember now why i turned the corner
    its all i could do
from fallen shadow wistfully running deep
shown shot on specters stained reprieve
    one step hurry around
    slow pulse riveting attention
gasping for just one more moment
lost on the last tock of the clock
    I stop cold in anticipation
    maybe turn back
face the street again with renewed vigor
for once is never too many enoughs
    then
    and only then
the wind bathes thought in cherished romance
gaping puddles no longer create fear
so stride forward against better judgement
for freedom lies just past that next step...

Turning that corner, taking positive steps forward. This piece was very freeing. Flow on.
