"People are genuinely horrified by the Tupac hologram”

Rapper Tupac joined Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg on stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Annual Festival Sunday.
Yes, you read that right. The rapper, who died in 1996, was brought to life as a hologram to perform his hits, “Hail Mary” and “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted.”

Thanks to technology, the hologram even greeted the crowd with a “What’s up Coachella?”

Jeans sagging and bare chested, the hologram may have freaked out some in the audience.
One concertgoer wrote on Twitter, “this place just went silent. People are genuinely horrified by the Tupac hologram.”

Who knows who will be a hologram next? Maybe the living.

    But one things for sure.

A White man will have a job tomorrow.

I wonder if they even bothered to get clearance from his mother to do that.

Kind of disrespectful if you ask me. But since no one asked me i will say that it seems ritualistic to me since the killer was never found. Snoop & Dre are unwhittingly, or maybe even knowingly admitting that they are no longer interested in who murdered him as long as they can still party with his image on stage.

    Some  ish.

spooky indeed the art of intertainment , the ending was even more scary they shouldn't be hologramming the dead
I'm looking into this whole thing from a different view and perspective into the future of where this could lead too....

You're right...because in only a matter of time they will miniaturize the process which inevitably means that somebody was seen at certain locations by witnesses where a murder or crime occurred when they were never actually there. Trust me...white people are already thinking of the implications.

According to this article they did ask for permission just as you suggested.

    Ghoulish.

    Creepy.

    And mind-blowingly awesome.

That was the fan reaction after Tupac Shakur was resurrected at the Coachella Music Festival in California.

The late rapper, slain in a hail of bullets in 1996, seemingly returned to life Sunday night to perform alongside fellow hip-hop icons Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.

While the shirtless Tupac, dressed in jeans and Timberland boots, might have looked real to the 100,000 stunned music fans, it was actually a hologram.

Dre, who also produced the performance, tapped a company called AV Concepts to pull off the concert stunt, which is estimated to have cost nearly $400,000.

But first he sought — and got — permission from Tupac’s mother, Afeni Shakur, who watched the performance live on the Internet,

Michael Jackson has never left. He's still on 42nd street, underground dancing to his most classic hits by the 4 train. Glove, one curl, high water pants, glycerine and all. And oh yeah, an empty violin case that he leaves open so you can fill it up with money. If you watch him perform and walk away without making a deposit, he starts singing Billy Jean is not my lover but with different lyrics:

    "HE HE HE
    is not my brother
he watched me perform for free
as if i do this ish just for fun
    he walked away
    without giving me any one's

    oh, yes he did
    she did it too
    whoooooooooo"
