    TRY A LITTLE TENDERNESS
    BY OTIS REDDING

    She may be weary
    Women do get weary
    Wearing the same shabby dress
    And when she's weary
    Try a little tenderness

    Uuh she may be waiting
    Just anticipating
    Things she may never possess
    And while she's without them
    Try a little tenderness

    It's not just sentimental
    She has her grief
    And her care
    But a word
    So soft and gentle
    Makes it easier
    To bear

    You won't regret it
    Women don't forget it
    Love is their whole happiness
    And it's all so easy
    Try a little tenderness

    But a word
    Soft and gentle
    Makes it easier
    To bear

    You won't regret it
    Women don't forget it
    Love is their whole happiness
    And it's all so easy
    Just try a little tenderness
    You've gotta try

    You've gotta hold her
    You've got to sceeze her
    You have to try
    You've got to try
    And always please her

    You won't regret it
    You won't regret it
    Oh, try a little tenderness

From myself, and all my good brothers at this board, a little something for the SOUL of Our Sisters... I Got Sunshine, on this cloudy day - and oldschool still rules!(smile!)

    Peace!
    Isaiah

This brought such a smile to my face. This took me back... Not saying that I'm young, I'm not, lol, but this was one of my mother's favorite songs, and yes, it definitely has deep soul all through it, you can feel it. Thanks for this brotha Isaiah.

    WOMAN'S GOTTA HAVE IT
    BY BOBBY WOMACK

Do the things that keep a smile on her face
Say the things that make her feel better every day
Man you gotta stay on your p's and q's
If you don't, the woman you could easily lose
Oh you, oh you had a love and you lost her
And no one can help you share the pain that it cost you
Oh a woman's gotta have it I believe
She's gotta know that she's needed around
When you kiss her you gotta make her feel it every time, boy
She got to know that she's not walking on shaky ground
    Yeah, yeah
Think it over, think it over
    Think it over my brothers
Don't take for granted the smile on her face
Check a little bit closer, you might find a tear trace
Maybe the girl might never say a mumblin' word
But you've got to make sure that her voice is heard
Oh you had a love, a true love and you lost her
Now you're suffering all this pain that love cost you
Oh a woman's gotta have it I believe
She's gotta know that she's needed around
When you kiss her you gotta make her feel it every time, boy
She got to know that she's not walking on shaky ground
    Yeah, yeah
So if you've got a love and you want to keep her
You've got to give her what she wants when she wants it
Where she wants it and how she wants it
And every time she feels she needs it
What I'm trying to say boy
    A woman's gotta have it
    What I'm trying to say
    A woman's gotta have it

For you, sister watzinaname, cause I'm a Soul Man!(smile!)
    Smile On, Sista, Smile On!(smile!)

    Peace!
    ISAIAH

Yes, Bobby Womack brought those words home, I fondly remember this one as well. Thank you brotha Isaiah, for bringing memories back that put a smile on my face.
