THAT I DARE NOT DEPART,
IT GIVES ME A CERTAIN FLOW
THAT ALL NEED TO KNOW.

WHAT I'M THINKING
WHAT I'M SAYING
IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT
WHEN I'M PLAYING.

I DON'T NEED TO FIGHT
OR EVEN DRAW A GUN,
CAUSE PUTTING IT DOWN
ON PAPER WITH MY PEN
IS SET OUT LIKE FUN.

THE VIBE I GET
AND THE FLOW THAT COMES
IS THE POWER OF THE MIND
THAT WAS SHELTERED
FOR THIS PARTICULAR TIME.

WE HAVE THE SAME ABILITIES
SOME TALKERS
SOME RAPPERS
AND SOME WITH THE FLICK OF THE TONGUE
BUT BELIEVE THIS
SOME MOUTHS NEVER AMOUNT TO NONE.

SO LET ME PUT IT OUT THERE
FOR ALL POETS
AND WANNA BE'S ALL ALIKE
