So many new faces and names
I watch them come and go
    hard to keep up
    original master scribes
    fading into obscurity
    making room
    for the new generation
missing the scribes of old though
    who brielfy stop in
    yet their work
is the foundation of the playground
so here I pay tribute to some of those
who have helped to add flava
to the fam we have today
    your skillz are phenomenal
and your flow cannot be described
    When I joined the crew
I was a roughneck trying to be a rebel
but you guys took me in
and I have become the Watchman atop the Watchtower
Watching and admiring the flow of those who grace this forum...

    Much luv to the following:

Amun-Ra - The Master Scribe himself
Alyce - Queen Mother of all of Poets
Garlic Salt - The most intense and erotic poet I know of
$$Rich$$ - The high flying brutha who takes Xtreme to Mach7
Chi-V - The peaceful and serene poetess who has moved on
Blk Kween - Quiet but powerful poetess who will stir your heart
Foxy - The hottest and freakiest Poetess in the world....
Bishop - My big brotha and guardian of the Sea of Love
Heartbeat - The life force of all true poets
Liviti - the young rebel who believes in just keeping it real

    and yet there are others

I thank you for what you have contributed to the fam
and the inspiration you've been to Destee that helped her to bring this forum into reality...

To DESTEE the best looking administrator anywhere, thank you...Girl I remember when you didn't even write, but look at you now.......you provided us a place after those turbulent days for that I thank you...

Now I shall continue to do what I do best....and that is to Watch until I have something to write about.

You are so correct, these names you've mentioned surely laid the foundation. They took me in too, got me believing I'm a poet like you  Well ... not like you ... but a poet just the same ... allowing me to share my heart's refrain ... others have come and some have gone and at the end of the day we are left with hope for the dawn ... as a result of poets sharing their song.

    This aint nuth'n but beautiful.

    Thank You Watcher

    FITTING TRIBUTE!

It is fitting that you pay tribute, and this is so true.
For those who have been benificial to you.
But, less we make others feel meaningless and small.
Sometime those paid tribute prefer no tribute at all.
Growth is so evident the time here is well spent.
    Give honor to those meant.
But hasten not to create those who might resent!
Open doors gather many , we grow for a season
    to harvest...the plenty!
If we give a tribute to any...the tribute should be
    to the many!
A pantheon fitting represents the foundation, but
what is a government without a nation.
All share at the feast and the famine.
I pray we all closer examine!
BLESSINGS ON YA HOUSE AND TO THOSE WHO CAME
BEFORE...AND ALL THOSE WHO FREELY GIVE OF THEM
    SELVES DAILY!
