Any other time
I would have declined
It takes more than lust
To get this heart of mine
But I succumbed to your touch
Time did not matter
I was served on a platter
The moment you climbed love's ladder
You spoke to my soul
With one single kiss
There wasn't one spot
Your lips did not miss
You chocolate skin
Tasted like magic
For the moment to end
Would be tragic
I needed you
I craved your touch
Your love
Your sensation
I needed so much
Your warm embrace
Your cheek against my face
Your strength between my thighs
Taking me to a special place
Heaven would describe one minute with you
Music to my soul
The things you do
To have a hour
Would take all my power
Love would consume
And bloom like a flower
But you gave me a night
And I was lost
I was willing to give it all
No matter the cost
So you took it
You claimed my soul
I was possessed
You became my goal
I wanted to possess you
I had to make you mine
I was intoxicated
With passions wine
So you gave me more
And I feasted with hunger
I couldn't get enough
I needed the moment to last longer
But the moment ended
And you left my side
Taking a piece of my soul
Along with my pride
I expected you back
I was now a fiend
But you never came
And the craving did not wean
So I sold my soul
I gave it all to the devil
Just to taste your lips
As my soul would revel
But it was a fool's deal
You gave me no pleasure
Instead, I was robbed
Of all my treasure
My pearls were among swine
My soul held cheap wine
I soon learned the devil's deal
Was never in kind
He stole my sanity
Kept me from your touch
Made me look like a fool
That you would hate so much
A foolish girl
No longer a woman
No longer in touch
No longer in your hands
Hope is deferred
Dreams are shattered
Nothing remains
And nothing matters
I've lost love
I let it forsake me
Now I wait for my end
How long will it take me?

I needed so much
Your warm embrace
Your cheek against my face
Your strength between my thighs
Taking me to a special place
Heaven would describe one minute with you
Music to my soul
The things you do
To have a hour
Would take all my power
Love would consume
And bloom like a flower
Powerful use of verbiage
But the moment ended
And you left my side
Taking a piece of my soul
Along with my pride
I expected you back
I was now a fiend
But you never came
And the craving did not wean
So I sold my soul
I gave it all to the devil
Just to taste your lips
As my soul would revel
But it was a fool's deal
You gave me no pleasure
Instead, I was robbed
Of all my treasure
My pearls were among swine
My soul held cheap wine
I soon learned the devil's deal
Was never in kind
He stole my sanity
Kept me from your touch
Made me look like a fool
That you would hate so much
Painful and powerful...the despair and vulnerable deeply felt this sister keep writing...
