Best Players: Patrick Ewing(HOF), John Starks, Latrell Sprewell, Charles Oakley, Larry Johnson, Allan Houston

This team should have done it , I would have love to see Patrick Ewing get a ring before his career was over.

charles smith was soft
they try to blame it on john starks but it wasn't his fault

:uhh:

The Seattle Super Sonics The teams with Gary Peyton, Sean Kemp,Sam Perkins, even Detleff Shrempf<<spelling? The year they Faced Chicago for the Championship,Peyton and Kemp were two of the best athletes around. Was glad to see GP get that ring with big Shaq in MIA.

New York, if the front office had only brought in another superstar. Starks was a third man. By time Spreewell came, and Houston emerged as an all-star,Ewing was riddled with injury. Marcus Camby really made the difference in their finals run in 99. NY has always suffered from poor front office work.

The New Jersey Nets?

The teams under Byron Scott's Leadership were good teams.

I considered putting the Nets in the honorable mentions list, but the Nets played in a weak eastern conference and if they played any of these other teams they would get smoked. I feel the Nets were a few notches below these teams.

Chicago Bulls !Chicago Bulls - Early years. The Chicago Bulls are actually the third NBA team in Chicago, after the Packers/Zephyrs (now the Washington Wizards) and the Stags (1946-1950). The team began play for the 1966-67 season, and immediately posted the best record by an expansion team in NBA history, qualifying for the playoffs. Over the next few years, the Bulls assembled the pieces to be competitive, though they never quite reached the top. During the 1970s, the Bulls were known as a tough, defensive-minded team, built to last but lack the awareness to win a title in the 70's

hard-nosed defender Jerry Sloan, forwards Bob Love and Chet Walker, point guard Norm Van Lier, and center Tom Boerwinkle. Nevertheless, the team only won one division title, and never made it to the Finals.

I think this was another good Chicago Team put together until the Jordan era another BULLS team was the early 80's
Bulls squad which included guard Reggie Theus, forward David Greenwood, and forward Orlando Woolridge. After Gilmore was traded to the San Antonio Spurs for center Dave Corzine, the Bulls employed a high-powered offense centered around Theus, and which soon included guards Quentin Daly and Ennis Whatley. However, with continued dismal results, the Bulls decided to change directions, trading Theus during the 1983-84 season and the Arrival Jordan 3rd over all pick .
