    Well, see,
    I've been "Top Heavy"
    All my life
    The world, my oyster
    And my brain.....my knife

    Oh, you mean THESE?!
Well, yeah, I've got some Ds
But that's not what I meant
Because the size of my breasts
    Can't begin to represent
    Who and what I am
Yes,when I was a child, even grown men
Looked at me and said, "[email protected]!"
    But they still couldn't grasp
    The pressurized clasp
    My mind could deliver
    To them, thirsty travelers
    And I, the water-giver

    Because I've been "Top Heavy"
    All my life
Seeing and feeling the tragedies of others
As well as my own heartaches and strife
    My mind and heart weighted
    With silent questions debated
As I strive to understand the perplexities
Of my path and all its complexities
That beseige me. You see,..... they INTRIGUE me!

So I guess, literally, "nature-vs-nurture" agrees
As my mind as well as my bosom guarantees
    Because I've been "Top Heavy"
    All my life

Pound for pound, the impact of the weight of your intellect, far outweighs the impact of a curvacious figure. Wonderful play on words poetess, I sure am enjoying your pen.

Well, I don't know which ancestor of mine gave them to me; but, like they say, "You gotta play with the hand you're dealt!" lol

    hmmm...

the "D" shelf got moved to the front of the line
all the time...fighting my mind's dime
    can't wait to meet mine
    but...in time
i'm just trying to find time
    to reapportion my mind's time
that when fate is so inclined
i might be moved to the front of the line

    NEXT TO MZ TOO FINE

    (i ain't lying).

    coz the river floweth

    WELCOME.....

    cherryblossom:
Really feeln this joint. As a fellow
Top Heavy woman I can relate all to
    well.

Yes,when I was a child, even grown men
Looked at me and said, "[email protected]!"
    But they still couldn't grasp
    The pressurized clasp
    My mind could deliver
    To them, thirsty travelers
    And I, the water-giver

That stanza really jumped out at me
I remember as a child the whispers and
the cat calls. It really use to get on
my nerves and it made me hate having
them. I am so over it now. I bask in the
glory of my Top Heaviness and do
    it oh so well.

Very nice scribe and I appreciate
you putting it down for us TOP HEAVY sistas. :)

Gurl you say your a D, I'm not even going to tell
    what I am. lol

    Much Luv

4EverLuv, since 13, I've had me some "ta-tas!" My older brothers didn't want to let me outta the house! (lol) But, having the "girls" never stopped me. I played B-Ball in jr and high school.

I don't particularly LIKE having them, but we've been together so long now, I've resigned myself. (lol)

@So'ja: Thank you for feeling me! (but in a good way!) lol
