    Who are the best and top college coaches of all time as the artical of
    John Wooden lead me to ask this to see how great he really was at what
    he love to do and all he have done for the game of basketball ..............

    What? No John Thompson??

    I agree with your list (top 25) for the most part, but with the top 5 being

    1. Wooden
    2. Dean Smith
    2. John Chaney.
    4. Coach K.
    5. Knight

    John Thompson and Larry Brown (Kansas and UCLA) would be somewhere from 6-10.

    The LMU coach was Paul Westhead. Remember he also won the NBA champioship Magic Johnson's rookie season.
