The passenger repeatedly asks "Do you know how very well educated I am?"..but yet displayed actions of a Pre-K child, smh. Meanwhile the Sister maintains her cool and knew when to discontinue the senseless exchange...summarizes the daily walk of my people...we come from Kings and Queens, and how we carry ourselves illuminates that lineage....well done Sister!
I've only been to NY a couple times, but I do recognize that accent.
That is no accent, that is simply how we speak here.
The majority of our parents, as in my case came from the South, and many here are from the Caribbean.
but we mostly communicate as you hear the sister within all strata of economics and environment
But as the sister said we come from a regal people and one thing you will see about sister and brother coming from the motherland ,
so that regardless of what religion or colonization has done to them, they still maintain, African culture into the fabric of their bones, and carry them selves in a dignified but not subservient manner wherever they go.
You will not find them walking around with their hindparts out above their belt, or using foul language in public
