someplace dreams are made of
Occupation
student, advocate to change the world
tonite
i cried and she slept.
she makes me feel like
sean walks with a ladder in his back pocket--
on high
tonite--
i felt that
sean could stroll up to the half-moon and--
devour it
piece by piece--
like
an orange-wedge--
tonite
the sea smoothed
and
demanded that the breeze blow kisses
to all edges of my mind--
two became one and--
one became the
absolute
beginning
of
infinity
i became the earth--
heart-pumping sea-fresh silky fluid--
soul rejoining with the roots--
*connected*
and seperate all at the same time--
*like that time it rained--
and the sun still shyned*
tonite
i understood.
i accepted.
i predicated.
i subjected--
my mind stalled...arrested--
trapped within guilty thoughts--
x-convict to the abuse i have inflicted--
yet connected just the same
blaming ill-twisted lies
on my present condition
tonite
i
evolved.
