    Toni Morrison Discusses 'A Mercy'

.......A great tribute to a great lady Goddess Amnat77, for real...the only blemish, in my opinion, would be the designation of Clinton as the first Black President :), other than that Morrison, rules.

Thank you, Sis Amnat77. I am currently reading 'A Mercy'. Toni Morrison was the first Black woman writer I read (The Bluest Eye.) I still enjoy her books and how she crafts her words...

Same here....i read Song of Solomon when i was about 15, and I don't think there is anything out there right now as far as contemporary literature that compares..
