Vegetable - Fruit - Recipe : TOMATO AND OKRA SOUP

    Straight from George Washington Carver but guess what HE FORGOT SOMETHING....


    Yes, those FINE OKRA. I guess you would have to FIGURE out this ONE on your OWN.


    Still a fine RECIPE (SIMPLICITY of INGREDIENTS and AFFORDABLE too) and I guess its not TOTALLY VEGETEARIAN.

    My Dad used to be in the restaurant and always told me that "OKRA" and "GUMBO" were synonomous but few recipes I see for GUMBO rarely use a tomato base and I dont remember ever using it myself but I guess cuz I was thinking about the sauce or paste rather than a "tomato soup".

    Wow, that sounds very delicious; two of my favorite foods, okra and tomato soup:D. I can imagine how that would taste with the organic Roasted Red Pepper & Tomato soup I love so much :lips:
