    Tonite I'm going to cry
    I think I know why
I'll cry for the young, I'll cry for the old
I'll cry for the leis WEve all been told
I'll cry for my ancestors who were sold
I'll cry cause there are few who are Bold
Bold enough to porclaim their pain
Bold enough to admit the shame
    Instead they'll continue to blame
everyone else except the criminally insane

    Tonite I'm going to cry
    I think I know why
I'll cry for the babies I didn't birth
I'll cry for the destructin pon the Earth
I'll cry cause my Spirit hurts
I'll cry, calling out to the Universe
to relase me from this pain
    Cover me in my shame
For its not me to blame
It was all a b.s. game
    constructed by the racially insane

    Tonite I'm going to cry
and I think I know why
I'll cry to expell this negative energy
    Disrupting my inner tranquility
I'll cry to restore the Harmony
which if found in Our Unity
I'll cry cause thier's a foot on my neck
and I have no room to truely flex
I'ts a Big Foot no less leaving my Mind, Body and Spirit in distress

I'll cry cause it really does seem
that few are able to glean
that cunning, baffling and powerful scheme
Designed to support US in being Mean....
    to each other
to my mother, my brother to my lover and my friend
to my sister, my father, to all for whom I depend
Mean in our words, meaner in deed
Meaning to get up and take the lead

Tonite I'll cry for all who will die
    Striving to get by
    never understanding Why
    Why they failed in life
Why they reaped so much grief and strife
Why they had to fight and
Why the wrongs were not set Right

    But..
    Just for TODAY
I'm proud to Stand and Say
I see the Dawning of a New Day
THE DEATH OF DESTRUCTION is on the Way
    For MY Afreekan Spirit
    is HERE TO STAY....

I will join you Qg TTTC, in these long overdue tears we need to shed. Oh what A Divine cleansing this will be.

I will cry with you until the rays from the Sunrise in Afrika lifts our eyelids to ANewness, the Day we will never need to Cry again.

    Lets Cry
    Lets Cry
    Lets Cry
    to gether
For we have perpetual reason why to cry

I am not asahme to cry
    because I have reasons
    Why
    I should be crying

    I AM gonna
    Cry Afrika a New Ocean
    For us to Cross

    I Am gonna
    Cry Afrika a New Sea

    I Am gonna
    Cry Afrika a new River

    I Am gonna
    Cry Afrika a new Pond

    I Am gonna
    Cry Afrika a new Brook

    I Am going to
Cry for those who refuse to Cry

I will cry until our Beloved people have crossed the bridges/borders from being in their wrong mind-set, back to the frontier of the future on the outskirts of the City of Eternity, where Harmony, Balance, and Order will dry our tears.

Oops! One tear just drop. I Am sensing a Crying coming on...until

Whew! I have to agree with Alkebulan, many will cry with you. So much of this spoke to me, particularly how the sins brought upon us by others, are being used by us upon ourselves. Thank you so much for sharing such a poetic gem of wisdom.

    I too Cry,

I cry because my sista's in pain,
can't see the sun, only the :rain:
can't see the forest for all the trees,
instead of ROSES, we're planting weeds.

I cry because you don't understand...
    that,
all of this mess, is the slave master's plan.
all the lynchings, prisons, guns and drugs,
has turned our babies into hard core thugs.

So, I'm saying to you sis, let's dry up our tears,
shut the door in their face...erase all our fears.
Bring our babies back to their natural glory,
    teach them our ancestors,...Original story!!

I got your back sis, right to the end,
    cause I meant it when I said , I'm a FRIEND.
