First off I'd like to say I like Bill Clinton

Today Bill Clinton comes to Harlem
I beg your pardon
But jobs to find are going to be harder
Than OJ Simpson trying to be convicted by Chris Darden
The streets make you hardened
And it's going to be impossible for alternate side of the street parking

I like Bill but he's not my savior
But you would think that by some of these people behavior
Behold their new neighbor
But don't ask for no favors

The real estate tax is going up
And you thought that hood life was tough
You ain't seen nothing yet, cuz

Our minimum wage pay will push you further uptown
To the Bronx
Money makes a funny sound
When it hits 125th Street and there are no black people around

55 West 125th Street and Lenox Ave
the ex- presidents' new pad
you can laugh
but more people are going to be living out of a bag

you always know we had it hard
just wait, this is the changing of the guard
we will find out just how far

we haven't come

55 West 125th Street and Lenox Avenue
two blocks from the St. Nicholas projects
prosperity in this apartment complex
yea the right cut the nonsense

they gonna knock that down

and all the hot shot and million dollar honchos
are gonna be living on a 127th Street and Fredrick Douglass Blvd
in million dollar condos

you wait and see
and we're free
can we get some of that money

we've been waiting all this time
what makes you think it's going to happen now?
