The dislike for organized religion can be understood and even if not understood must be respected, but people in general who do not like the term religion or just simply hate it, prefer the term spirituality, so as the new year comes in for those who post day and night about the problems with the organized religions, what is your spirituality and how do you practice it or express it?

For the sake of this website of folks of African descent please share for the benefit and education of all

Spiritual just IS. Is doesn't need me or you to thrive. It doesn't need words to support it
Religion on the other hand is a creation of people. Religion CANNOT survive without words.

Perhaps the lack of response has to do with the tone and mood you have set. "to those who harp on religion" itself is negative. Perhaps people are tired of you constantly referring to others as "haters". You attempt to initiate debate then move quickly to debasement. So before you rant about others having nothing positive to share perhaps it has more to do with the negatity you project.

My Christian belief works for ME...it doesn't have to work for you or the next person....It's my faith and I can do what I want and believe in what I want and who I want, when I want....I'm not entitled to NO ONE African, black, or white for what I believe in...

I respect other people's beliefs...I NEVER come on here bashing anyone else's right to believe what they want.

But every time I come on this here site I read someone bashing my Christian faith....And regardless of what these folks say, they can never in a million years get me to change my mind about the Lord in which I firmly believe in.

You can tear the Bible apart and try to dispute because of "lack of physical evidence", or because it's a "white thing"...My faith goes way deeper than the Bible that no one on this site can even begin to try and reach and tear apart.

My faith is much stronger than some pages in a book.

My faith is not in man, it is in the most high.

If your faith works for you, that should be all that matters.

There's nothing to practice or express "IT". There's nothing to manifest. Spiritual is already of manifestation of the universe or vice versa. I am of the universe therefore I/WE are spiritual.

Under that spiritual energy, the power given to me. I follow 5 simple rules, which are dictated by my soul/intuition.

    1. love and compassion
    2. respect (of self, life, people, environment)
    3. giving without looking for something in return
    4. accountability/integrity
    5. righteousness and justice

Being stubborn and determined helps. This society is not really built on righteousness. It's built on what sells. It not easy to stay the course. But being born with a strong feeling of self, and the energy I feel from our ancestors who paid a great toll, and me learning to be disciplined enough to listen to my inner "self" (soul) helps.

I'm not here to claim I'm better than anyone. I am you, you are me.
