    The smallest light can
    break the darkest night,
    the blak
    that's why I sit here
    in tears
    you are a divine light
    that resides in the depths
    of my deep

    loving you has become second
nature / and because of it
    the many seasons of adversity
I face in life's rat race
    I welcome with open arms

    see, you
    you
    you,
    are a candle that provides
the sun light / I see you
    hold the moon when
    you want to eclipse
and I trip over your rays
    purposely to fall into
    you

    and you have broken me
only to build me up into
    a deeper blak the equal
    and opposite of your
    pure radiance

    only you

    raising my glass, blak...

when brilliance brings out the beauty in us, it's time for us to give a toast to that one...who raised us up, higher than we once were.

    appreciating greatness.
