her song was tired or so
    she thought no one heard
    the lullabys she sang into
    the night...yet everyone
    slept easy after her melodic
    speak and counted angels
    that played double dutch
    amongst the clouds

she thought her song no longer
    cured the blues yet everyone
was left a cirulean hue after
she placed her voice on the wind

but then again was it her choice
of words that she sang to herself
that made her feel her song was
    tired...when the masses
    hear joy upon her verse.
