i have loved you
seen your inner beauty
felt your passion
shared your dreams, troubles, conclusions
stepping away from it
even temporarily
makes me afraid
to be on my own
fighting my own battles
viewing your aesthetics
like the ink on your skin
a vision of who you are
your own stages in life
a mere participant
on the stage that you create
i love you so hard
feel you so deeply
you will never understand
the places that you touch
the secretive place, the lover space
the protective place, that sexy space
the youth space and father place
cause you are bad
not bad meaning bad but bad meaning good
you are you
i am just a spectator
admiring you
i would give you the world
in the palm of my hand if i could
because you fill so many places
in my own life
lover, wife, mother, friend
that it almost seems natural
in its being
we have always said
it is what it is
time will surely pass
just a scribe to say i love you
you know this
it's real
and it will forever last
a special place in my heart
