As I gaze at my reflection
    I’m intoxicated by it’s allure
And I stand elevated by it’s apprehension.
    He is my counterpart
    An insight
    To who I really am,
    And this understanding
    Can only befall
    By the enlightenment of myself
    Through my soul mate,
    The black man
    I need you...
Like the sun needs the moon
    And the stars requirethe sky
    I need you....
    Like birds must have wings
    To soar and to fly
    It’s like without oxygen
    We all would die….
    I need you like
    Incense can’t smoke without fire
And like a young boy needs his father
Or like a crying baby needs comfort
And a flower needs water to grow.
I need you to nourish my soul.
    For whatever lessons
    I’ll count them a blessing
    And your light
    Has made your presence known.

    Thank you.. Nubianrhyme

    Welcome to Destee...

We need our beautiful black women in our lives too. I hope for a awaking like the dawn of a new day. Just over the horizon.

We need you like the ocean needs shores. To stop from spilling over into the wrong parts and out of shape and bounds.

Like the nurturing of a baby.. need. Can't live without you. There would no me.. without you, and the world would be dark.
