    There are those who achieve and those who do not;
    that is what those who organize and measure things tell us.
    Achievement seems to be measured in units of material gain,
    recognition of intangibles such as thought or intellectual feats
    rank lower in measurable rank if there is no direct material gain.

    In reality, much is in the eye of the beholder, a matter of perspective.
    For a man or a woman to ascend great heights without having wings to fly
    or to impart less than a meaningful effort is mere serendipity, not achievement.

    It is as a person who lives from day to day simply by breathing.
    It requires no talent or effort other than continuing to breathe.
    There are men and women who are literally born to greatness.
    Wealth and privilege produced some of the world’s greatest treasures,
    but with a head start the race should always go to swiftest.
    True achievement comes from a deeper place
    for it starts from nothing and builds to something.

    Forgive Me!

    I have been a bit didactic lately becuase of some young men I met who thought the president only served three years in office. I couldn't believe it. These were young men in the corporate workplace and it scared the sh*t out of me. I know that not everyone is short on knowledge but there are some things that we all should know.
